Functional areas of expertise: Over 24 years’ experience supporting engineering projects within the Department of Defense and private Industry as a developer, Oracle DBA, Systems Engineer, and software engineer. Over 15 years’ experience managing engineering teams with diversified backgrounds, this experience includes both large and small projects. Optimizes program touch points; providing the balance required accomplishing objectives set by the organization all within cost and schedules. Developed, implemented and supported analytical and transactional data intensive systems. Ability to adapt and incorporate new ideas, methodologies and technologies provides a great asset in an IT environment that is continuously changing. Developed capabilities for analyzing and managing a large organizations cost model, allowing for executable proposals upon award. Developed workflow processes leveraging information technology solutions such as 3+OpenPlan and Cobra; performed integration of multiple data sources from the organizations mainframe systems resulting in optimized business processes for managing the various projects; enabling resource allocation and ensuring the proper coverage for the various projects. Managed software development efforts to include all aspects of the software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing and implementation). Supported the Information Assurance lifecycle, all stages to include the RFP requirements, Development of the capabilities, and implementation of the system; ensuring that the systems are build with a security architecture foundation and enabling the organization to obtain both ATOs and IATTs.
